Hotels, B&Bs and guest houses in Blackpool

Holiday accommodation is the backbone of Blackpool's commercial property market. Thousands of buyers each year look at small hotels and guest houses along the Promenade, around the North Shore cliffs and in the streets behind South Shore.

This list shows every hotel, B&B and guest house registered with Blackpool Council's food safety team, grouped by postcode area, with its current food hygiene rating and the date it was inspected. Use it to see how many competitors sit in a street, which areas are densest, and how well run neighbouring businesses are.

Before buying, check whether the property sits in one of Blackpool Council's protected holiday accommodation areas, because that affects whether you can change its use later. Ask the seller for trading accounts, the premises licence if alcohol is sold, the fire risk assessment and recent gas and electrical safety certificates. A low hygiene rating is not a reason to walk away, but it tells you what work the kitchen may need.
